Vetting – CDI Inspections Training Course

AMC’s Maritime Training Center is offering on 28 & 29 March 2018, a two-day course that provides participants with the knowledge and understanding of the principles and objectives behind the vetting process.

The course shall provide ship operators with a means by which they can be efficiently prepared for vetting inspections and be able to demonstrate a strong and continuous commitment to safety and environmental excellence.

Compliance with IMO DCS – New SEEMP Requirements

According to Regulation 22A of MARPOL Annex VI which enters into force on 1 March 2018, all ships above 5000 GT will have to report their annual CO2 emissions from 1 January 2019 onwards. Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plans (SEEMP) will have to be updated and submitted to Flag or a Recognized Organization (RO) before that date. Reporting to the Project Manager and Technical Manager

  • Preparing 2D & 3D structural and piping drawings with the use of AutoCad, SolidWorks Plant 3D or any other similar software
  • Preparing strength calculations
  • Contribute to the correct and timely preparation of the engineering and design projects
  • Executing special engineering tasks and projects
  • Willing to visit vessels abroad
  • The successful candidate will have proven track records in similar studies and projects as described above with an experience of 2 years in the field. Knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and modeling, new Buildings experience, attendance of major conversions and retrofits will be further considered as additional qualifications.
