Latest Chevron SPM Requirements for Tankers

Chevron terminals have recently introduced new requirements for tankers calling Chevron SPM facilities. These requirements may affect the bow mooring arrangement and Safe Working Loads (SWL) of bow chocks and chain stoppers of all tankers calling Chevron SPM facilities that are not in compliance with the OCIMF “Recommendations for Equipment Employed in the Bow Mooring of Conventional Tankers at Single Point Moorings”, Ch. 6.1 Table 2 & Ch. 6.2-6.3.
