The first-ever design integration of an Air Lubrication System (ALS) on an LNG carrier vessel in Greece, with installation completed in record time at a major shipyard in China.

• Complex Hull Modifications: Adapting existing hull structures to accommodate ALS piping and components without compromising vessel integrity.
• Water flow Streamlines: Using sophisticated CFD analysis the water flow lines and subsequently the dynamic pressure coefficients were calculated for optimizing the locations of the ARUs.
• Tight Timeframe: Coordinating multinational teams and processes to achieve installation within a compressed dry-docking schedule.
• System Calibration & Testing: Ensuring full ALS functionality post-installation, including real-time sea trial adjustments and performance validation.
• Cross-Continental Engineering Coordination: Seamless collaboration between Greek design teams, Equipment Makers and Shipyard production, despite time zone and regulatory differences.
