Pioneering the Future of Shipping: SEASTARS Consortium Convenes at MARIN Headquarters for 2nd General Assembly Meeting!

This week, Alpha Marine Consulting had the privilege of participating in the 2nd General Assembly hosted at MARIN headquarters in Wageningen.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our fellow SEASTARS partners and collaborate on the next generation of sustainable vessel designs.

Together, we’re advancing eight innovative vessel concepts, including both retrofits and newbuilds – spanning inland waterways, short-sea and deep-sea shipping.

By integrating cutting-edge technologies like, Carbon Capture, alternative fuels, Wind-Assisted Propulsion, Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers, MSAR,
Air Lubrication Systems… and applying Model-Based Systems Engineering, we’re helping shipowners decarbonize in a modular, phased, and cost-effective way.

With 19 forward-thinking partners across Europe and beyond, SEASTARS is setting a course toward a more sustainable maritime future.
