We are excited to announce the launch of the first edition of the SEASTARS Newsletter, highlighting key milestones, events, and the vision behind this ambitious Horizon Europe project focused on maritime decarbonization. As a proud consortium member, Alpha Marine Consulting plays a pivotal role in SEASTARS by leading the retrofit design work for four distinct vessel types.

Our mission:

• Integrate energy-efficient solutions and alternative fuels into next-generation retrofit designs
• Adopt Model-Based Systems Engineering – MBSE in our workflow to ensure scalable, high-fidelity, and future-proof design outcomes
• Develop practical, implementable designs that accelerate the green transition for shipowners and operators across Europe
