Alpha Marine Consulting is expanding in view of several exciting ship and marine design projects and
is currently seeking talented professionals to join our growing team. We invite applications for the position of Senior Design Engineer.
The successful candidates will play a key role in leading and supporting innovative engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on maritime decarbonization and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct concept, basic, and detailed ship design in accordance with international standards and rules.
- Oversee multiple engineering projects while ensuring timely delivery
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations
- Provide technical guidance and leadership within the engineering team
Requirements:
- BSc and/or MSc in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and design software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, AUTODESK, CADMATIC, AVEVA, etc.)
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
