Europort 2026 Wrap-Up: Major Milestones & What’s Next for AMC and SEASTARS

It was a productive and engaging week for Alpha Marine Consulting in the Netherlands, where AMC participated
in Europort 2026 in Rotterdam. Throughout the exhibition, AMC held insightful discussions with multiple stakeholders
and partners on the industry’s ongoing efforts toward the decarbonization of the shipping sector.

The team was honored to represent the SEASTARS initiative at the HEMEXPO booth, sharing the consortium’s roadmap for delivering market-ready green ship designs. In addition, it was a pleasure to join the SYNERGY inland vessel, with sincere appreciation extended to Mercurius BV, to conduct a thorough assessment of the vessel’s as-built condition, machinery, and arrangements prior to commencing the retrofitting design phase.

What is Next?! AMC will initiate technology screening for inland, short-sea, and deep-sea shipping vessels, alongside implementing
a Model-Based Systems Engineering, MBSE approach to guide the development of market-ready retrofit designs.
