PSC Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) 2025, Are You Ready?
Starting September 1st, the 2025 Port State Control authorities will launch a Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC)
focused on Ballast Water Management (BWM), assessing vessel compliance with BWM.2/Circ.80/Rev.1 and related IMO/Flag requirements.
Key inspection areas include:
- Approval and accuracy of Ballast Water Record Books
- Operational readiness and documentation of BWMS
- Crew training and familiarization
- Implementation of contingency measures
- Consistency across logs and plans
