New Contract Awarded to Conduct Trim Optimization Assessment!

Alpha Marine Consulting is delighted to announce its engagement by a first-class shipping company to undertake a Trim Optimization Assessment.

This project aims to enhance performance monitoring across eleven sister vessels by developing accurate speed–power curves and analyzing factors like trim and bulb submergence that impact efficiency.

Key project tasks include:

• Designing and validating the vessel’s 3D hull geometry
• Running CFD resistance tests across more than 100+ speed-draft-trim combinations
• Producing detailed Effective Power – Speed curves for performance investigation and optimization
